the best way to maintain your bamboo clothing is to hand-wash in cold water (up to 30degrees celsius) with a mild detergent or gentle soap/shampoo. Swish the fabric in the soapy water for a few minutes, and gently squeeze from top to bottom to remove excess water. do not wring tightly. take care to rinse off all soap residue. if you'd like to use the washing machine, turn the garment inside out and wash on the cold water cycle (up to 30degrees celsius) on the gentle cycle wash with like colours onlyd r y i n g
line drying under the sun is best. we do not recommend the dryer as it can be pretty rough on fabrics. if absolutely necessary, they may be dried in a clothes dryer on the lowest, coolest settingi r o n i n g
steaming is recommended, but you also iron your bamboo clothing under low heat
a v o i d o v e r s t r e t c h i n g
our bamboo fabric contains elasticity. if it is hung, the weight of the garment may stretch down and lose its shape. therefore, to avoid over-stretching of our bamboo pieces, it would be best to fold them neatly or roll them in your wardrobe. this applies to all jersey-type garments
